The RC monster truck is a combination of two things: the remote control car, and the monster truck. RC monster truck racing lets drivers feel the speed and exhilaration of a race without having to invest in a full size vehicle. It makes a great hobby. And another part of the appeal is that when you get up into hobby grade trucks (as opposed to the remote control toys), you also get more flexibility and control over the inner mechanics of the machine.
So when you buy a monster truck to use in remote control racing, you don’t have to just buy a truck that comes ready to drive out of the box (but you can). You can put together a kit, order replacement parts, and even choose what sort of engine and fuel will power your RC monster truck. The possibilities are endless.
